When Bruno Paillard founded his winery in 1981, he set a clear standard: his champagnes must combine minerality, purity, elegance, and complexity. He never strayed from this standard. His daughter Alice, who now runs the winery, continues this quest. Maison Bruno Paillard remains 100% family-owned and independent. The Bruno Paillard vineyard covers just over 25 hectares spread across 18 crus, 17 of which are in the heart of Champagne. The Riceys cru is the exception, located in the south of Champagne, and is the undisputed jewel of the Aube region. Nearly half of the vineyard is classified as "Grand Cru."
Bruno Paillard champagnes combine energy and elegance. The best example of this is the Première Cuvée Extra-Brut, which, with partial vinification in oak barrels, is a champagne that is both rich and refined. But it is perhaps the Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru that best embodies the four watchwords of the house. A cuvée made exclusively from the great terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. A champagne with intense aromas and a chiseled texture.
