Description

Brut Vigneron from Fabrice Pouillon is fruity and fresh, a delightfully light champagne perfect for aperitif or picnics.

This unusual cuvee is made using the ‘solera’ technique, and is a blend of 25% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir Premier Cru, with 50% reserve wines chosen from over a dozen vintages.

Vinification in stainless steel vats preserves all its freshness and vivacity, and the master touch of Fabrice Pouillon allows this Brut Vigneron to reconcile complexity and delicacy.

Tasting

By Patrick Borras

Robe

Fabrice Pouillon Brut Vigneron shimmers with yellow and white gold reflections lifted by fine profuse bubbles.

Nose

Delicate aromas of white fruits, pear, peach, and red fruits such as wild strawberries give the nose all its complexity, with citrusy notes contributing an agreeable crispness.

Palate

The mouth is round and delicate, full and well-balanced thanks to the freshness of its pronounced citrus aromas.

Service

With its vivacity and agreeable smoothness Fabrice Pouillon Brut Vigneron will be the ideal accompaniment to a cocktail dinner. Best served at 8 to 9°C.
