Dosage Zéro from Eric Rodez is a champagne which masterfully combines power and elegance, characterised by its extraordinarily delicate structure, fine as lace.
It is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru terroir of Ambonnay, embracing 4 different vintages : 2000, 2002, 2004 et 2005.
It is a cuvee that has the distinction of being made for 80% in small oak casks, and carries the individual touch of Eric Rodez with only 25% of the wine undergoing malolactic fermentation, allowing the cuvee Dosage Zero to retain an unparalleled freshness.
As its name suggests, this champagne receives no dosage, there is absolutely no addition of sugar, allowing its authentic nature to be expressed in a perfect illustration of the house style.
Its pale gold robe dances with golden reflections.
Slightly mineral with aromas of white-fleshed fruit on the nose, it offers a palate of exotic fruits enveloped in a smooth, creamy texture.
A long period of cellar ageing – over 7 years – confers a smoothness and complexity rarely found in a non-dosed champagne.
